Frequent Questions
- Why is TMS providing Logos?
TMS wants to make sure every student has access to premier biblical and theological tools during and after seminary. By partnering with Faithlife, TMS is able to offer students such a custom library at a greater discount than would otherwise be possible.
- When will I receive the software?
A few weeks before students begin their first semester at TMS, they will receive an email through their student account with download and login instructions.
- How do I install the software?
You will receive an email in your student account with installation and login instructions. If you do not have a preexisting Logos account, simply follow the instructions in the email.If you have a preexisting Logos account, do not download the software again. If your existing account is registered to your student email, your software will automatically update the next time you restart the program. If you have a preexisting Logos account that is registered to a personal email, you may contact Logos Customer Support (800-875-6467) and request that they merge your accounts.Once you have successfully installed and signed in to Logos, please begin by viewing the following training videos. These will orient you to the basic use of the software. Specialized trainings will be offered throughout the semester. Training Videos:

Technical questions should be directed to Logos Customer Support at 800-875-6467. - I already own Logos. Can I opt out?
Because the technology fee covers a variety of services, not just Logos, students cannot opt out of the fee if they already own a Logos library. That said, the high value of the TMS custom library makes it likely that students will benefit from this version, even if they already own a substantial personal library from Logos. - Who is eligible for this program?
All actively enrolled M.Div. and B.Th. students are included in this program. - Do I get to keep Logos?
Students who successfully complete seven semesters and graduate the M.Div. are able to keep the TMS custom library permanently. Students who graduate in less than seven semesters are eligible to purchase the Logos custom library at a prorated cost. - Are my textbooks included?
Some required texts are included, especially language and exegetical tools. These include BDAG and HALOT, as well a number of required grammars. Additional textbooks can be purchased at logos.com.
